How Tribes works
Tribes is the shop window; the booking and the payment are provided by our partner. Here's exactly who does what.
1 · Tribes curates.
We aggregate, curate and verify family-friendly stays, and build the destination guides. You browse and choose on Tribes.
2 · You choose your stay.
When you pick a room and rate, we prepare your booking and show you the price, the cancellation policy and what to confirm — before you commit.
3 · Nuitée provides the booking and processes the payment.
Nuitée Travel Limited is the merchant of record. It takes the booking, collects and processes your payment via PCI-compliant infrastructure, confirms the reservation with the hotel, and issues your confirmation. The charge appears as “Nuitée Travel Limited” on your statement.
4 · The hotel hosts you.
The accommodation provider delivers your stay on the ground.
Who handles what.
Tribes: curation, the booking interface, and help — including finding a replacement if a stay falls through and relaying a complaint to Nuitée. Nuitée: the booking, payment, invoicing, refunds and cancellations. For anything about payment or your reservation, Nuitée (and/or the hotel) is the responsible party.
