Service beyond expectations

We stayed at Sofitel The Palm Dubai and from the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel truly understands hospitality. Our room was large, spacious, and absolutely perfect for the four of us—plenty of space to relax, unpack, and actually enjoy being together without feeling cramped, which is no small thing when travelling as a family. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. In every single area of the hotel—housekeeping, restaurants, bars, reception—the service was consistently above expectations. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every request was met with warmth, efficiency, and genuine care. Yes, the hotel is pricey, and the food and drinks do come with a noticeable markup. But honestly? If that’s what funds this level of service, then so be it. The value here is in how you’re treated. I even witnessed guests being blatantly rude to staff, yet the team remained polite, tolerant, respectful, and professional, continuing to meet those guests’ needs with smiles intact. That speaks volumes about the culture and training at this hotel. A very special mention goes to Demly, our housekeeping assistant. I genuinely looked forward to our daily interactions. He was warm, kind, and thoughtful—and the little towel animals he made for the kids each day were such a lovely touch and brought them so much joy. It’s those small, personal details that make a stay memorable. All in all, Sofitel The Palm delivers luxury not just through its setting and rooms, but through exceptional people. We left feeling looked after, relaxed, and already thinking about returning.

Celebrated twins 16th birthday and had a great experience at Sofitel Dubai The Palm

We had a faultless 10 night stay at Sofitel Dubai The Palm over Christmas where we experienced first class customer service and outstanding hospitality. It really was a wonderful stay in a spacious 2 bed apartment room 7202 which overlooked the kids club & kids pool. We dined at ALL of the restaurants and were always greeted with a smile and sampled delicious food. Drinks were reasonably priced and the ice cream pop ups were a nice treat. Some staff that really stood out were Sejawit & Simran at buffet breakfast; Vijayan and his towel/canbana team; Ruffa at Hong Loong always went above and beyond; Navdeep’s suggestions at Zoya/Maui were good; Jaypee and Rizwan were always fun and had positive vibes as the doormen; Adel at concierge was very reliable; Elena managed the Premier Lounge with excellence and Sharon at guest relations was a superstar who helped us organise surprise celebrations for my twin daughters celebrating their 16th birthday! Lots of other workers too. Thank you all so much. The only minor issue was at Replay bar when Aushan covered his colleague’s break and offered me a free shot of vodka whilst I was watching football BUT when he left, his colleague charged me and suggested Aushan should not have said it was free. I paid but they need to communicate better in that sports bar! On the whole, 10/10 with great location, pools, restaurants and high quality levels of customer service. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying on The Palm.
