The best hotel for nature and adventure seeking families with kids

I was warned against including Chiang Mai on our South East Asia itinerary with a 2 year old as there is no beach etc but I still added it and my daughter loved staying in Shangri-la Chiang Mai. This hotel is super kids friendly with huge pool, water slides, outdoor play area, kids menu in the restaurants, workshops, special cutlery, coloring during meals. On top of this, the team made sure we had connecting rooms so space and privacy for the nanny and they built a nice private tour itinerary to ginger farm, Angel park sticky water fall which I brought her helmet so she could climb it with the guide. Highly recommend this for nature and adventure seeking families with kids

The breakfast buffet was incredible and the pool and facilities are great. My kids loved the giant bear in the room. It was very clean.
