Tribes review

Puente Romano offers families attractive communal amenities — extensive pools, beach access, immaculate gardens, varied restaurants and a standout breakfast — plus adjoining suites and many activities (tennis, spa) that suit mixed-age groups. However, family travelers should note some rooms and extra-bed arrangements feel dated or cramped, and teenager access to the main gym/spa can be restricted. Occasional cleanliness issues around the pool/beach and renovation or organizational hiccups have been reported, so consider room type and policies when booking.

Families love
  • Large pools, beach access and extensive green grounds for outdoor family time

  • Outstanding breakfast and many on-site restaurants — convenient for families

  • Adjoining suites available and on-site activities (tennis, spa) suitable for mixed-age groups

Worth knowing
  • Some rooms and extra/sofa beds are dated or uncomfortable for families

  • Teenagers may be restricted from the main hotel gym/spa — check age policies

  • Occasional cleanliness concerns at pool/beach and possible renovation/noise; dining areas can feel cramped
