Tribes review

Families report many positives — friendly, attentive staff, a staffed Kids Club, nightly childrenntertainment and both large outdoor and indoor pools that keep kids busy. Rooms and public areas are regularly cleaned and some families received suite upgrades and helpful guest-relations support for special occasions. However, the beach requires a shuttle and has a steep drop-off that can be unsafe for young children. Several guests also note inconsistent food quality, poor handling of allergies, and occasional nighttime noise or weak animation during low season.

Families love
  • Staffed Kids Club and regular childrenntertainment programs

  • Large outdoor pool plus indoor pool and family-friendly facilities

  • Friendly, helpful staff with daily housekeeping and occasional family suite upgrades

Worth knowing
  • Beach accessed by shuttle and has a steep drop-off—not ideal for young children

  • Inconsistent food quality and reports of poor allergy handling

  • Occasional noise (bars, service trolleys) and variable animation quality in low season

Excellent hotel for a vacation

We DEFINITELY liked the hotel (small but compact and well-organized territory) - from the welcome at the reception (polite, organized - during all the days of our stay we did not notice a large crowd at check-in, they immediately gave us the hotel concept - they have it in different languages), there were sweets and juice in the lobby for welcome. They brought a welcome compliment from the hotel to our room - wine and fruit. Hygiene was excellent - both in the hotel and in the rooms - towels and sheets were changed every day. The maids were kind and surprised us every day with a decoration on the sheets. The main restaurant - well-trained staff, calm, they quickly cleared empty plates, cleaned the tables, put new cutlery and tablecloths. We liked the food - deliciously prepared, pasta was made on the spot in front of the guests with ingredients of choice, there was chicken, turkey, veal, meatballs, fish - bream, white fish, salmon, trout, etc. For 6 nights in May, there were 2 themed evenings, with sushi, falafel and merjimek meatballs being prepared on site. There was also a cocktail evening. The restaurant by the pool - we ate there twice (chicken doner, tagliatelle, Mediterranean salad) - we were also very satisfied. The order was taken by a waiter, there were no queues, there was also pizza, different types of pasta, salads. After 4 pm - quick breakfast - doner, hamburgers. There is also a pool bar next to the restaurant. The pastry shop - there were nice desserts, but somehow they were not to our taste (more like pastries), otherwise the ice cream was good. The cafe in the hotel lobby - great espresso coffee and all kinds of other drinks - coffee, tea, including Turkish coffee in a cezve. The lobby bar - became our favorite, we stopped by for a drink every night. There is also a bar next to the stage in the evening. The restaurant on the beach - a wide variety and very tasty, including the güzlemeti. The Wi-Fi in the hotel was very fast, and there was full coverage on the beach (no complaints). The beach - with an awning (much better than umbrellas), the sand is mixed - between coarse sand and very small pebbles, it gets deep quickly.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. ❤️

This is our second year here, and I honestly don’t know where to begin. What I love most about this hotel is the staff. Everyone is so kind, friendly, and welcoming. I would like to start with the two young men at the reception who help with the luggage. They are incredibly polite and helpful, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Every single waiter is kind, smiling, and professional. The entertainment team is more than excellent – the group of four young men and three young women do an amazing job and create a fantastic atmosphere. I also absolutely love the girls working in the Kids Club. I would especially like to mention a young man named Zeka, as well as several other staff members who work hard cleaning the hotel and maintaining the pool area. They all deserve great praise for their effort and dedication. There is only one small thing that caught my attention. As someone who owns a restaurant and manages a team of around 30 employees, I understand a little about working with staff. One of the supervisors or managers called out loudly to Zeka in front of everyone and told him to clean a toilet bowl. We all heard it and saw it happen, and it felt a little inappropriate and uncomfortable. Such instructions could perhaps be given more privately and respectfully. Apart from that, the staff are truly wonderful, and they are the main reason we enjoy returning to this hotel. ❤️

Don't go

This has been the worst holiday. This is my last full day and I am completely exhausted. I couldn't sleep in the first room because the service trollies go over the room nearly 24 hours a day and could hear them all night. So they said they will move my room so at least I can sleep for 2 nights. The new room is imbetween two sets of elevators amd below the bar which is open all night. There is a back room for my children so I slept on the floor there so I could get a few hours. They have brought a sofa bed in so at least I won't sleep on the floor on the last night. The hotel advertises as a beach hotel. The beach is not at the hotel. You to get a shuttle and there is no sand and a massive drop into the water so no good for children. The food is awful. The fish is dry and full of bones. My 6 year old is allergic to dairy. After 3 days of asking for a substitute they gave me lactose free milk. But she has a dairy allergy not a lactose allergy. So as a summary. If you want a good night's sleep. Don't come here. If you want a beach holiday. Don't come here. If you like good food. Don't come here. If you have any sort of allergy. Don't come here. They dont care
