OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi is a very family-friendly, convenient option for families with children: the resort is only a short (15–20 minute) speedboat transfer from Malé, offers family rooms and beach villas with easy beach access, and has a supervised kids' club and plentiful activities to keep children entertained. Staff are consistently praised as friendly and helpful, and dining options are broad. Families should note some room types (water bungalows) and shoreline conditions may be less suitable for very young children.

Good family rooms, liked the one on the 1st floor best because of direct access to the beach. Very nice with the Kids club, the kids stayed there for a couple of hours while we were at the SPA during the day. Good food, especially Asian dishes. Nice experience at the underwater restaurant Only blu, the food was ok (dried fish and dried shrimp, good side dishes). Nice with small electric cars that drive around the island. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Perfect for a week's holiday with children: lots of swimming with exotic fish in the sea, playing and good food.
The location is close to the airport, transportation is provided by the hotel, the food was very delicious, the staff were quite friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
