Tribes review

Many families praise Karmir Resort for its clean, spacious family rooms, well‑kept grounds, multiple pools (including an indoor option) and a very short walk to the beach. Guests often highlight friendly staff and good food. However, families report limited children’s facilities — no proper mini club, a small children’s water area and occasional unprofessional kids’ staff. Paid in-room Wi‑Fi and loud evening entertainment (often until 11pm) can disrupt parents with young children.

Families love
  • Short walk to the beach; good beachfront access

  • Clean, spacious family rooms and well-maintained grounds

  • Multiple pools (including indoor/heated seasonally) and a small children’s area/water park

Worth knowing
  • No dedicated mini club and limited animation for older children

  • Children’s water area is small and lacks extra facilities

  • Loud evening entertainment (often until 11pm) may disturb young children

Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel. Although there were minor deficiencies, it was quite satisfactory in terms of price-performance comparison.

We stayed in a family room. The rooms were spacious and airy. The reception staff (only the gentlemen. Unfortunately, the female employees made it very difficult and made unreasonable requests with their whims) were very attentive and professional. The food was amazing, especially the gözleme and lahmacun section (the breads cooked in a wood fire) were magnificent. The waiters kept the tables constantly clean, their service and attentiveness were very good. There were a sufficient number of sun loungers available. The air conditioners in the rooms were working super well (In previous stays at more luxurious hotels in the area, we witnessed several times that the air conditioners did not work properly or were especially turned off). Contrary to the reviews I read before arriving, there were beef dishes available in a wide variety.

Cons: The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained – we truly appreciated that. However, the food variety could be improved, especially for children (more options like pizza or hot dogs). The kids’ party was suitable mainly for ages 3–5, and older children got bored. The children’s water area has only one pool and no extra facilities. Check-in took about two hours due to confusion with two separate bookings. With a few improvements, this could easily meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel.
