Highly recommend for a family getaway. We visited with our baby daughter for a week and would love to have stayed longer. Suggest doing half board as there are limited other food options close by.

Families will find Grecotel Eva Palace appealing for its spectacular sea views, private beach, and multiple pools, and several guests praise the warm, helpful staff and convenient concierge/WhatsApp service. One guest specifically recommends it for a family getaway with a baby. However, practical issues matter for families: the site has many steep steps (poor for strollers), occasional noisy rooms and overbooking, and persistent problems with guests reserving sunbeds. Dining can be pricey and nearby options are limited, so consider half board and advance bookings.
Private beach and multiple pools suitable for family relaxation
Friendly, helpful staff and responsive concierge (WhatsApp) for arranging activities
Meal packages (half/full board) recommended to simplify family dining
Steep steps and limited accessibility—challenging with strollers or mobility issues
Frequent early-morning sunbed ‘reserving’ by other guests; hotel may not enforce rules
Dining onsite can be expensive and nearby food options are limited—book ahead
Grecotel Eva Palace may offer a kids club or supervised childcare that we haven't been able to verify yet. If you're looking for such services, please confirm with the hotel before booking.

On arrival, the building is impressive and it looks and feels like a luxury hotel. Check-in process seems unnecessarily long and drawn out. At the end of a day of travel, we were just keen to relax in our air-conditioned rooms. We received a complimentary dinner on arrival, which was a lovely touch and much-appreciated, but did further delay arriving at our rooms. The lady helping us with the check-in process was exceptional. We had booked a deluxe and junior suite. The rooms were connected by a dedicated door to our apartments and were spacious and comfortable with great views, especially at sunset. We were advised to arrive early for breakfast each morning because at peak times there is a queue and a wait. This isn't ideal when coming on holiday and wanting to wake up and dine in a leisurely manner and most mornings we did have to queue. There is, however, refreshment available while you wait (juice and sparkling wine) and the staff do a good job of quickly rearranging tables to minimise the wait. The staff at breakfast were all great, with some standout employees. The property is not ideal from an accessibility perspective as there are steep and numerous steps to the pool and to the beach. There is a problem with sun loungers by the pool being reserved and not being used. The hotel is in a remote location but this is addressed by the bus service to the town centre. There are plenty of outstanding, reasonably-priced restaurants ranging from a three to a 20-minute walk
Great location and fantastic staff. Pools and beach were nice although the situation with the sun loungers was ridiculous with other guests "claiming" sunbeds from before 07:00 am! The hotel did nothing to alleviate this issue. Whilst we enjoyed our time there, this issue alone would prevent us from returning. A shame.
