Spring Skiing in the Dolomites

We spent six nights at the hotel Gardena as a family of four with two teenagers. We stayed in the Chalet Attico suite which was perfect for four people. The hotel spa I cannot rave about enough. It was probably one of the best spa experiences from the sauna, cold plunge, pool, massages, massages on a waterbed table, hair blowouts, divine ! The ski setup was so easy. The instructors booked for us were fabulous. The terrain was perfect and we arrived for some great spring snow and bluebird days. We did the Sellaronda which is a must ! Had fabulous mountain lunches, getting into town was just a few steps away the local grocer had all the snacks we needed. Probably the most fun for our entire family of varying degrees of ski ability was to take our last day when the conditions on the mountain were not that great was to go sledging ! That was a blast. I’m so glad we tried that the kids had smiles for hours after. Our last night in town there was a Party in the main square which was super fun to dance and mingle with the locals. I would highly recommend this hotel for spring family skiing.

Amazing Christmas stay, cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - 5 stars and more

I just wanted to leave a review to congratulate this amazing hotel and staff on making our Christmas stay so so special. The front of house where exceptional - nothing was too much trouble ( shout out to Simon and Rene in particular as we well as the owners daughter) The restaurant recommendations in the village and areas surrounding were spot on and we had the most magical Christmas Day up in the mountains in a hut. The area is breathing taking and the people so friendly. There is lots to do in the hotel if you don't ski from the amazing spa with quiet pool to mountain hiking. My family and I had the most magical Christmas, one of my best. Also massive thanks to the amazing bar men who looked after us so well while we played cards ( topping up my white wine) and to the lovely gentle man with glasses who looked after us so well in the Grill, which is an excellent place to eat in the hotel. Wonderful hotel

This is an excellent hotel where both the service and food is exemplary. We are a family of five and stayed for a week during August. It is perfectly positioned, close to the mountain lifts and the town centre, and has an expansive spa. The hotel really deserves its ratings.
