Indulge in luxury at Corfu Imperial, Grecotel Beach Luxe Resort - your beachfront paradise awaits!
Corfu Imperial is widely praised for its dramatic location, calm family-friendly beaches, spacious outdoor facilities and attentive staff — features families value. Many guests note villas with private sea access, plentiful space for pools, beaches and water sports, and excellent on-site restaurants. However, some family-specific drawbacks appear: certain family suites (Boschetto) sit apart from the main resort and can feel isolated, activities for children are limited, and the resort is remote with few nearby shops or pharmacies. Check room location and bring basics for kids.
Calm, family-friendly beaches and extensive outdoor facilities (pools, water sports).
Highly attentive staff and multiple excellent on-site restaurants; villas offer private sea access and privacy.
Plenty of space so beach and pool areas rarely feel crowded, even when busy.
Some family suites (Boschetto) are detached from the main resort, isolated and overlooked by service areas.
Limited kidsactivities and fewer pool/beach loungers available later in the day.
Resort is remote — few nearby shops or pharmacies and occasional construction/noise reported.
Corfu Imperial, A Grecotel Resort to Live may offer a kids club or supervised childcare that we haven't been able to verify yet. If you're looking for such services, please confirm with the hotel before booking.

great outdoor facilities with a lot of options. Rooms are just okay but good enough for a resort. I highly recommend this hotel for families as well for couples.
It has been hard to write this review, as overall the hotel is very beautiful and there are many great things about it- if we had been travelling as a couple looking to laze by the pool then I think we would have enjoyed it. But as a family it really wasn't good enough. Families are put in the Boschetto block, which looks lovely in the website. Sadly in real life is rather depressing. The block is stuck out back, miles away from the rest of the hotel and accessed by walking on the road with cars and golf carts whizzing past. Our suite overlooked a carpark and a scrubby service road. The 'family' pool was always empty as it was rather bleak with sharp edges all around the pool which made it quite unsuitable for kids to climb out. Many things didn't work in our room when we arrived (the phone, the air conditioning, the clock, the tv). The bathrooms are open plan so if you want any privacy from your family you have to get dressed inside the toilet or the shower. There is nowhere to dry any wet swimming things and nowhere to sit other than on the beds. It looked nice but had been badly planned for family use. Overall the hotel is nice. The landscape is pretty and the buffet is good. But there aren't enough loungers anywhere - we found that if you didn't put a towel down by 8am then you couldn't get a lounger by the pool or on any of the beaches. The kids were bored as it's very set up for adults but sadly there was little for them to do with few activities.
