A perfect family getaway — nine unforgettable days at Centara Karon Resort Phuket where great New Year celebrations, fan

We are a family of four with two children (4 and 8 years old), and we spent 9 wonderful days at Centara Karon Resort Phuket, including the New Year celebrations. The New Year’s dinner and pool party were fantastic — great DJ, great atmosphere, and lots of fun for both kids and adults. Our room was on the second floor near the main pool, which was very convenient. The pool itself was excellent, and our kids loved the activities such as water aerobics, water games, and the foam party. The hotel feels like a peaceful paradise, while just outside you can enjoy the lively Thai atmosphere with markets, shops, restaurants, and attractions. Karon Beach is only a 10-minute walk away, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. Our days were perfectly balanced between family time and relaxation — buffet breakfasts, pool activities, kids enjoying time with the animators, and moments for us to relax with a traditional couple’s massage, followed by evenings out in the local area. A special thank you to the amazing animation team — Aki, Bettie, Nicky, and Sasha — for taking such great care of our family at the pool, in the kids’ area, and during the New Year’s party. They were friendly, easy-going, and made our stay truly memorable.

Wonderful Stay

We just spent 1 week in a villa at Centara Karon Resort and absolutely loved it. The villa room was perfect for a family (myself, my wife and two young daughters) with good space and beautiful little pool right outside the master bedroom. We found the staff were excellent everywhere, including cleaners, reception and restaurant. The little extras such as a topped up mini bar each day, complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktails were a pleasant surprise. The staff in the lounge during these times were very kind and friendly. Our girls (9 and 6) loved the kids club staff, activities and facilities. The team Nik, Aky, Bettie and Sasha were very lovely with our girls - it was hard to say goodbye! All in all we loved our villa stay at Centara Karon resort and are so grateful for the beautiful memories we made there. Thanks to the entire team for the wonderful experience : )

Excellent freshly renovated hotel in the center of Karon with a large area.

I stayed at this hotel with my family (wife and child) for 15 nights. I knew in advance that I was overpaying quite a bit, as there were much cheaper accommodation options nearby. I intentionally chose Centara because I wanted more comfort, more private space, tasty breakfasts, and leisure activities with children. I got almost all of this here and even more. The staff is 11 out of 10. The best service I've experienced in all my travels. They responded to all requests promptly. It felt like they really wanted to please to the maximum. For the convenience of guests, they have a smartphone app through which you can communicate with staff on all matters (food ordering, laundry, cleaning, etc.). I had two bookings: for 3 nights and 13 nights in two different room categories. But the second booking was upgraded to a villa for free - it was very nice. It's worth mentioning separately that in November 2025, they finished renovation there and we actually moved into new rooms.
